Izzet Baysal University Faculty of Architecture was established in 1992 in Bolu, Turkey. The faculty aims to provide students with a comprehensive education in architecture, urban design, and landscape architecture. The faculty accepts students both in Turkish and English, and offers a 5-year undergraduate program, as well as master's and doctoral programs in architecture and urban design.
The campus of the faculty is situated on a hillside overlooking the city of Bolu. The architecture of the faculty building is in a modern style, with spacious classrooms, studios, and workshops equipped with state-of-the-art tools and technologies.
The faculty offers various courses, including design studio courses, history and theory of architecture, building technology, and urban design. The faculty also has a research and development program aimed at producing innovative designs, technologies and scientific research, including in the fields of energy-efficient design, urban renewal, adaptive reuse, and sustainable urban design.
Graduates of the faculty have gone on to work in various fields, including architecture, landscape architecture, urban design, construction management, and academic research.
